India's largest power equipment maker, state-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) said it said signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC), one of the largest manufacturers of capital equipment and machine tools for core sector industries, to form a joint venture (JV) company that will cater to the requirements of castings and forgings of the two companies on mutually beneficial terms.
