Wipro Technologies, the global IT services business of Wipro Limited and the country's third largest software exporter, has agreed to acquire US-based, Nasdaq-listed outsourcing firm Infocrossing Inc., provider of IT infrastructure management, enterprise application and business process outsourcing services, for approximately $600 million (around Rs. 2,400 crore) in an all-cash deal, which, if it succeeds, will be the largest ever overseas acquisition by an Indian company in the information technology (IT) space.
