UP Assembly Polls: Congress Unveils Vision Document 2020

The Congress on Friday released the "Vision Document 2020"  for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) Assembly polls.

The document states the road map to bring about development in key sectors like education, employment and economy.

The Congress promises to generate 20 lakh jobs in UP.

The Congress promises to implement new land acquisition laws to compensate farmers besides implementing 4.5 percent minority quota.

The document was released in multiple areas of UP including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra, Meerut, Shahjahanpur and Moradabad.

Earlier, the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday unveiled the manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) Assembly election.

The party focused on major issues like employment, education, health and law and order in the manifesto.

Top BJP leaders, including Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Kalraj Mishra, Uma Bharati, and Sudheedra Kulkarni were present at the event on Friday.

The manifesto promises one crore job in the next five years.
