UP Assembly Polls: BJP Releases Manifesto
The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday unveiled the manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) Assembly election.
The party focused on major issues like employment, education, health and law and order in the manifesto.
Top BJP leaders, including Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Kalraj Mishra, Uma Bharati and Sudheedra Kulkarni were present at the event on Friday.
The manifesto promises one crore jobs in the next five years.
Earlier, a vision-document for UP was released by the BJP.
Congress is likely to release a vision-document at various locations in UP on Friday.
UP is going to witness a highly charged assembly poll with Congress going all out to regain its lost ground in the heartland state as party leader Rahul Gandhi devoting full time for the elections by challenging Mayawati while other important players are Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
